Hard Water Stain Removal
Calcium, lime, and mineral deposits cloud glass over time. We use dedicated stain treatments and professional polishing to restore clarity — and we will tell you straight up if a pane is etched beyond saving.
STAIN, NOT JUST DIRT — TREAT IT THE RIGHT WAY
When sprinklers, runoff, or splashback hit glass and dry, they leave mineral deposits behind. At first the deposits sit on top of the glass and a regular cleaning removes them. Over months and years, those deposits bond into the surface and become a permanent-looking haze that no amount of regular cleaning can budge.
Our restoration process starts with a test patch. We use a glass-safe mineral treatment to lift the bonded deposits, then a professional polishing compound to refinish the surface where needed. The goal is full clarity without scratching the glass — and we will not touch the rest of the windows until you sign off on the test patch.
Some panes are too far gone. True etching — where the minerals have actually pitted the surface of the glass — cannot be removed without compromising the glass itself. When that is the case, we will tell you up front and recommend pane replacement instead of selling you a service that will not deliver.

Sprinklers, hose splashback, and rain runoff all carry minerals that bond to glass as they dry. Over time those deposits become hard to remove with standard cleaning.
Most can. Some panes are etched — meaning the minerals have actually pitted the glass — and those cannot be fully restored without replacing the pane. We test before quoting.
No. Our treatments and polishing pads are designed for glass. We always start with a test patch and never use a product that has not been validated on the surface in question.
Aim sprinklers away from glass, squeegee shower glass, and consider a glass coating that helps water sheet off without depositing minerals.
Yes — shower doors are some of the most common stain restoration projects we take on. Same approach: test patch, treatment, polish, optional protective coating.
